The Five Woes After a blistering LQGLFWPHQW RI WKH ´SXIIHG XS µ UHEHOOLRXV PDQ D series of five woes is presented in a poetic, taunting song of rebuke that insures a final judgment. The five woes are presented in five stanzas, each of which addresses a different type of evildoer, using three verses per stanza. Both people and nations who do such things will be indicted.

1. The Plunderer (6-8): Against greed and aggression 2. The Selfish (9-11): Against exploitation and extortion 3. The Oppressor (12-14): Against violence, cruelty and subjugation 4. The Immoral Bully (15-17): Against shameful misuse of others

5. The Idolater.
