Through it all I’m reminded of the Word the Lord spoke to me on the airplane from Indonesia back home to America… “You were born to do this!” Isaiah 6:8 – “Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, here am I; send me.” After we all got settled back at our homes with our families, it was revealed to me that Rudy’s wife, Lori, had made him make a promise to her before he left for Indonesia. As Rudy was headed for the door to leave for the airport to begin our ministry trip to Indonesia, Lori had held Rudy’s face near to hers and said, “ Make sure you get Bobby home safe.”

Rudy kept his promise to Lori. And we all lived to

fight another day.
