Sure enough, within a couple of weeks my adversary, the devil began to roar against me (of course), attempting to strike fear in me. With his accusatory, silver tongue, he charged me “You have a $4,000 rent payment due in just two weeks, where are you go ing to get that kind of money… you don’t even have a product, let alone a single paying customer? ” I have to admit, his attack against me was kind of intimidating. He was right on that point! I didn’t know how that looming debt was going to be paid off … but I was legally on the hook financially! As it came down to just days before the rent was due, the enemy continued attacking me in full force, but I was fighting hard to stay in faith and trust, even with a growing lump of fear in my throat. I was determined to abide in faith no matter what, just like my wife was doing! I was driving in a car with one of the prayer leaders who were setting up a prayer ministry in our rental space to use for prayer meetings in the evenings, and I began to tell them about the vision that the Lord had given me for this company. Once they understood the great potential this niche market had - and that I would be the first to bring the much needed and desirable products to this very market, they were amazed! They said “Wow, this venture does have huge potential, have you ever considered taking in investors?” Why the thought had never crossed my mind I have no idea!
