Sing Into Your Storm

So just think of it… You are putting your complete trust and faith upon the One who has steadfastly proven His Love for you. With His all-knowing wisdom, He has established a plan for your life to give you a hope and a future that can be depended upon! We are talking about the One who knows the end from the beginning! In the midst of His great Love and wisdom, this One also has the very power to protect you , to lead you , to provide for you, to save you and to bring forth the fullest conclusion (and harvest) from your life! What’s not to trust? Sometimes the storms in our lives seem so overwhelming that for us to fully surrender to the Lord and let Him take over all our battles seem like the most difficult thing we will ever do. Why? Because we are afraid! Afraid He might not come through for us or not answer us with the kind of outcome we want in the situation. It is almost like dangling off the edge of a high cliff and the Lord is saying “Let go child, and I will catch you!” But the height of the cliff and the fear of falling is so exasperating it’s easy to get gripped with fright ! We are holding on for dear life, when in reality we should be letting go for dear life ! “ Letting go and letting God ” is one of the most life changing experiences you will ever have. When you finally pass the test of faith through a storm, by fully releasing it to the Lord (no matter the outcome the Lord determines), you will learn one of life’s most valuable lessons about the character of God. He is faithful! Your victory through faith in that storm will go a long way in helping prepare you for future storms in your life! You will mature in the Lord (through experience) as you learn how to release praise in your storms, and fully lean upon the Lord! There is no other way! 59
