Sing Into Your Storm

In David’s song, he continues with his testimony about God’s awesome power, kindness and delivering hand! Our God is a God of deliverance! He is faithful to all generations!

“He sent from above, He took me, He drew me out of many waters. He delivered me from my strong enemy, From those who hated me; For they were too strong for me. They confronted me in the day of my calamity, But the L ORD was my support. He also brought me out into a broad place; He delivered me because He delighted in me. (2 Samuel 22:17-20)

Imagine that! God was delighted in David! A man who was a poor father role model at best, an adulterer (Bathsheba), a murderer (Uriah), and a man whose pride and presumption took an unauthorized census that directly caused the deaths of over 70,000 people! Through God’s kindness, forgivenes s and purifying power, look upon what basis David’s attributes his deliverance … (Remember, this song was wrote near the end of his life):
