Sing Into Your Storm

The purpose of this book is to reveal the very heart of God, and His desire for you to not succumb to the circumstances, pressures and damages of this storm. So what does the word succumb mean?

Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines it as:

1. To yield to superior strength or force from an overpowering appeal or desire i.e. “ succumb to temptation…” 2. To be brought to an end (as death) by the effect of destructive or disruptive forces. On one-hand your storm could be the direct result of a satanic attack against you or your loved ones. It is certainly always the plan of the wicked one to try and overthrow your faith… and dear friend, it has happened to many people. The Bible says:

“… Their faith having suffered shipwreck.” (1 Timothy 1:19)

We have an adversary who constantly tries to discourage us, badger us, tempt us, lie to us, hinder us etc. Faith is a fight! Faith has an enemy! What did the Apostle Paul say near the end of his life concerning faith?

“ I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing. ” (2 Timothy 4:7-8)
