In my life during times of dryness and barrenness that simple song began to break up the large clods of hardness in my heart, enabling me to come into deeper fellowship with Christ through the Holy Spirit. It helped me to fan into flame a fire that many times became reduced to just a pilot light! It helped me to move into a fresh new season where I became willing to let God do some gardening in my life! The Lord can use seasons of barrenness to get our attention and do a great work in us!

There is a reason God does this! God is clear in His word.
