Sing Into Your Storm ~ Overcoming Adversity Through High Praise

To my amazement, they said “We would be willing to put in $50,000, if you are open to the idea?” Open to the idea? Are you kidding me? Within the next couple of days they placed $50,000 into the company. In their background they had been long-term entrepreneurs in another successful business that spanned all across America. They provided valuable business saavy and leadership to us to help us build a solid foundation for our new and promising business. Thank you Jesus! The rent had been paid, we were able to buy some office furniture, computer equipment etc. How sweet! What can I say… I’m just a mighty man of faith, (ha ha). But seriously, God was moving! Praise His name! What I needed then was a graphic designer and a computer programmer to help develop our niche product. I was sure our product would sell once it was developed. I ended up finding two skilled workers (who were a couple) just as they were graduating from Oregon State University. What a gift from God… they totally bought into the vision, and could clearly see all the potential, so they came on-board full time. In the early months of developing our products, some friends of our first investor contacted me after hearing about our company and the potential it held for growth. They asked me if they could invest $180,000! Wow! God was truly blessing this work, and our faith truly growing in the Lord! These new investors placed $90,000 into the company right away and agreed to put the other $90,000 in later that summer, after we got up and rolling.
