Testimony From The Author’s Wife:

When we lost our daughter Rachel Ann-Marie to SIDS, that is Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, it was like a nightmare that we just couldn't wake up from. But God had from the beginning of her life, impressed upon me that she was His daughter and that we were to hold her with an open hand. We she died, we were naturally in shock, yet at the very same time we were covered by the Grace of God. Since we had received two confirmations about the same story of King David losing his child, we decided right there in those first hours after her passing to do what King David did. So we looked up the story to review what King David did when his child died. He cleansed himself, put on fresh clothes, and went into the Tabernacle to worship God. So this is what we planned to do. We arranged with our Pastor to go into the church for an hour after the worship team finished their practice on Saturday night so that we could worship God there. We took a CD (or cassette) player and music to play while we tried to focus on God and His goodness... During this time of worship, I longed to hold my baby just one more time…While worshipping, I extended my arms out in front of me. As I did this, I began to feel my baby in my arms! She was not there in the natural, but she was there in spirit! Within minutes my husband opened his eyes and he too could see her very clearly. I told my husband he could touch her head from my left side! It was awesome!
