Sing Into Your Storm ~ Overcoming Adversity Through High Praise

The Author wishes to personally share here from his personal testimony, one of the most heartfelt, and impacting stories you might ever hear. Please believe me when I tell you that I greatly struggled when I considered whether I should share this story or not. When you reach the end of this story, I believe you will understand both my reluctance in sharing it, as well as the necessity of why it needed to be wrote. I chose to publish it because of the great encouragement it will bring to many who will endure storms of a similar nature, as well as for the deeper insight it will provide people in seeing the character, nature and Love that God has for each of us. My wife Betty and I got married in 1992. Within a fewmonths she became pregnant, and on February 28, 1993 we had a beautiful little girl. We named her Rachel Ann-Marie. She was the most beautiful baby! She was our little lamb . (Rachel means lamb). Since my wife and I both had full time jobs, we shared early morning responsibilities caring for Rachel Ann-Marie (that is Ann-Marie with a hyphen… something we used to joke about all the time). In the morning Betty would bathe and feed Rachel and then I would drive her about 15 miles to our preferred care provider. The morning drives with my daughter next to me in the front seat of the car were so special. I was the happiest (and proudest dad in the world).
