Friend, there is also a blueprint in Heaven for you for every situation you may face! God has a plan for your safe passage and ultimate victory – so don’t take matters into your hands and end up getting defeated in the battle. God is Faithful! Your job is to seek the Lord earnestly – and don’t move forward until you have secured His battle plans! Wait upon the Lord! Bow your heads and your hearts before Him! Instead of reacting impulsively to the circumstances, learning how to respond to the Lord is the pathway of maturing in the Lord. Enter into prayer! Enter into Praise! “He bowed his head with his face to the ground, and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem bowed before the L ORD , worshiping the L ORD . Then the Levites of the children of the Kohathites and of the children of the Korahites stood up to praise the L ORD God of Israel with voices loud and high.” (2 Chronicles 20:18, 19) On the morning of battle, King Jehoshaphat does an incredible thing! He reveals an even greater truth about the ways of God! Not only does the battle belong to the Lord, but they were told they did not need to fight, but the ultimate war strategy for that battle was to send forth praise on to the battlefield! Isn’t that amazing? “Hear me, O Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem: Believe in the L ORD your God, and you shall be established; believe His prophets, and you shall prosper! And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed those who should sing to the L ORD , and who should praise the beauty of holiness… They went out before the army and were singing:
