It is essential to learn how to develop a discipline for Godly thinking that quickly brings every though captive unto the obedience of Christ, and placing every situation that comes into your life into the light of eternity – so that you appraise all things from an eternal perspective . Look what the Lord does:

“He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts , except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.” (Ecclesiastes 3:11)

Why would God put a portion of eternity in your hearts now, during this life? Why would the Lord even reveal to His creation that He has an eternal purpose for you to fulfill in this lifetime? Why would the Lord tell you to focus on the eternal things and take of eyes off of the temporal?

“While we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.” (2 Corinthians 4:18)

From the truest sense of an eternal perspective , you have been chosen to become the ultimate companion, partner and eventual spouse of God for all of eternity. All of the trials, tribulations and tragedies and warfare you experience in this lifetime are just merely developmental preparations that will help to empower you to eventually step into the role as the Co-Regent Bride of Christ to rule and reign with Him forever! When you rightly divide the Word of Truth, you can see what the Bible says about these storms and what they will lead to:

“Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. For our light affliction,
