Sing Into Your Storm ~ Overcoming Adversity Through High Praise

“Awake, awake, Deborah! Awake, awake, sing a song! Arise, Barak, and lead your captives away, O son of Abinoam!” (Judges 5:12)

They could have been summoned to engage in a prophetic war cry, calling the camp to a fresh faith, stirring up zeal in their hearts as they prepared for battle. Declaring unto the Lord their confidence and trust in Him to go before them! With a mighty closing declaration of His power, and His jealous love for them, the Lord their God could have demonstrated to them in the midst of praise, how strong and mighty He is!

“Thus let all Your enemies perish, O L ORD ! But let those who love Him be like the sun When it comes out in full strength.” (Judges 5:31)

You have choice before every storm that crosses your path…

You can sing into the midst of it, sing about it later, or not sing (praise God) about it at all! What will you choose to do? I pray heavenly history records your praise, faith and courage, records your song!
