Sing Into Your Storm ~ Overcoming Adversity Through High Praise

utilized all of your faith during the battle, and limited the resources of Heaven! Hindsight praise is honoring, but how much more would faith in action be, if it was utilized at the very outset or midst of your storm?

“But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” (Hebrews 11:6)

We were created to worship God, for He is worthy of our praise at all times! We were created for His good pleasure! The point here is that, how much more pleasure can we bring Him, when we choose to place all of trust in Him? I am talking about laying it all on the line (at the feet of Jesus) especially in the midst of a raging storm! He has declared His everlasting Love for us, and His faithfulness to all generations! Though the children of Israel believed that God loved them enough to bring them out of Egypt, they obviously didn’t believe that He loved them enough to bring them fully into their Promised Land. If they did, they never would have perished in the wilderness. “The Song of Deborah” is hallowed even today by our Jewish brothers and sisters. They sing alongside “The Song of Moses” at their Feasts. Both are glorious songs of praise that detail the mighty deliverance of the Israelites by the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. After their great and mighty victory of war, Deborah and Barak led forth a powerful, declarative song of victory and triumph. It is recorded in the Jewish annals of history with
