in the midst of your tempest and saying as He did to His disciples on the Sea of Galilee “Don’t be afraid, I AM!”

As a matter of fact, the Word of God tells us:

“You shall have a song in the night when a holy feast is kept, and gladness of heart as when one marches in procession with a flute to go to the temple on the mountain of the Lord, to the Rock of Israel.” (Isaiah 30:29)

“Where is God my Maker, who gives songs in the night...” (Job 35:10)

“Deep calls unto deep at the noise of Your waterfalls; all Your waves and billows have gone over me. The L ORD will command His loving-kindness in the daytime, and in the night His song shall be with me— a prayer to the God of my life.” (Psalms 42: 7, 8) “I call to remembrance my song in the night; I meditate within my heart, and my spirit makes diligent search.” (Psalms 77:6)

Friend you may be going through the dark night of the soul right now. It may be a time of great sorrow, distress, doubt, hurt, confusion, sickness or great need. As overwhelming as it is to you – God is with you right now! His heart is tender towards you. He promises you (personally):

“No temptation (trial or hardship) has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not
