Hindrances Or Limitations

To Worship

N otwithstanding the fact that we are to

worship God in spirit and in truth, we all encounter

challenges that may hinder our worship to God. Let

us, therefore, closely examine the many hindrances

of worship.

1. Your attitude – It is particularly unbecoming

to worship God with the wrong attitude. John 4: 23-

24 once more reminds us of the importance of

obeying God’s Word which focuses on the attitude of

worship ( the how to worship ) which must be done in

spirit and in truth. Matthew 15:8 further highlights a

people that was drawing nigh to God with their

mouths and a people that was honoring Him with

their lips but sadly like some of us in the Body of
