Yes, there are benefits of private worship but

there are much more to be expected in public

worship when it is done right.

5. Public worship is more edifying than

private.

I really love this point most of all because as a

worshipper this is an area, where we can really serve

the people by praying on their behalf without

focusing excessively on one’s personal needs. Yes,

we “pray ye one for another.”

6. The Lord works his greatest works in public

worship.

Deliverance, conversion, regeneration and so on

are usually accomplished through public worship

and as a consequence makes it easier for a visiting

unbeliever to believe in the manifested power of our

Lord Jesus Christ.
