Types of Worship

C ome along with me as we explore the

different types of worship:

A. Vain Worship

Matthew 15: 8-9:

“ These people honor with the lips, but their

hearts are far from me. They worship me in

vain, their teachings are merely human rules. ”

Upon examining verse 8 it revealed that the

people drew near to God, they observed all the

rituals or religious practices of the day, they openly

prayed, they could be seen all in the streets, always

in the synagogues and with what appeared to be

reverence and devotion to God. Many can relate to

these busy buddies and those that perform their
