Chapter Seventeen

Brittanee Greenlee

1992:

I n January of 1992, our first grandchild, Brittanee

Elaine Greenlee, was born in San Jose, California. She

has brought great joy to our lives! I remember her and I

watching television together when she was about two

years old, and her saying, “ we don’t like commercials, do

we Papa ?” She was a very confident young lady. We

attended one of her gymnastic competitions when she

was about six, where she stood and shouted, “ I’m

number one !” When she was old enough, she would fly

from California to visit us, all by herself. We’ve made a

lot of great memories over the years with our beautiful

granddaughter!

Brittanee graduated from Trinity Christian

School in Lake Worth, Florida. She was elected

president of her senior class and was chosen to speak at
