Only One Life - By Dale Gentry - His Story - His Journey

In 2014, I preached the first sermon in their new

building. It was a blessing to see Lawrence continuing

to build on the foundation we had laid during our

tenure in Del City. For the past 23 years they have done

an incredible job leading Destiny Christian Center in

Oklahoma City. Today Lawrence serves as a prophetic

voice to his generation. I believe Lawrence and I have

exemplified the generational journey of walking with

the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Over the years we

have built a wonderful relationship with Lawrence and

Tracy and their daughters Faith and Lexi.

1991:

In 1991, we were invited to minister at a

conference in Romania, where the men sat on one side

of the church, and the women on the other. It was quite

amusing to see Jean in her head scarf, which was a

requirement for women in the church. It was a

wonderful time of preaching, prophesy and team

ministry, which included B.B. and Velma Hankins, Tom

and Mary Ann Peters, and Joe and Lynda Ragland. Our

team then traveled to Scotland for a conference, hosted

by Pastor Bernie and Nan McLaughlin.
