Next Steps 2.0 - Moving To Maturity

The significant battlefield that all believers face is in the area of their minds and their thinking. It is in our minds that we have programmed ways of thinking that are often contrary to a life of faith (2 Cor. 10:4). We have a worldview that has been shaped by many things other than God’s way of thinking. 2 Corinthians 10:3-5, NLT We are human, but we don't wage war as humans do. We use God's mighty weapons, not worldly weapons, to knock down the strongholds of human reasoning and to destroy false arguments . We destroy every proud obstacle that keeps people from knowing God. We capture their rebellious thoughts and teach them to obey Christ. Question to Ponder: “What are some of the forces in your life that have made you the way you are? The word in the Bible that is translated “renewed” means to “make new again.” In order for us to become all that God has designed for us to be, our minds must be refashioned or recreated according to God’s original design.
