• the more informed in any point of confusion, • the more mature and reasonable in every conflict, • the leader of every initiative, • the teacher in every point in question, • the wittier in any challenge of wits, • the most peaceful in times of peril, • the most confident in the face of overwhelming odds, • the master of every situation He faced. Up until this point, every significant moment of Jesus’ life happened in the context of adherence to the civil and religious laws of His day. • He was born in Bethlehem in alignment with prophecy be cause His parents had to go there to be a part of the Roman census. • Eight days after Jesus’ birth he was circumcised and received his name. • After the days of purification, he was consecrated to God through Joseph and Mary’s sacrifice of two doves at the tem ple in Jerusalem and there appeared two prophets to confirm his identity and calling, Anna and Simeon, announcing the significance and the impact of his life.
