mankind. Coupled together with the great revival which took place during his prominent time of ministry was the restoration of worship music. In fact, a vital part of his ministry was his brother Charles. Charles Wesley is known all over the world for his many songs and hymns. Historical records indicate that Charles wrote over 6,000 hymns in his lifetime, some of which we still sing today. Some of these songs include:

4. Twentieth Century The twentieth century brought forth a renewal of healing, prophecy, and praise and worship. The truth found in Psalm 22:3 became a reality throughout the Church and is still taking new ground today: “But You are holy, enthroned in the praises of Israel.” In the mid-twentieth century, praise and worship experienced a profound renewal, reaching new heights of freedom and expression. Powerful, anointed songs began to emerge, and the spirit of Davidic worship was once again revived through the power of praise. Today, we continue to live in an era where the Lord is actively restoring Davidic worship, a time when praise is finding fresh, heartfelt expressions across the globe, spanning numerous denominations. God is leading His people into deeper realms of worship — into higher levels of Davidic worship, where spontaneous, open-hearted praise flows freely. We are witnessing a time when prophetic worship is being awakened, embraced, and experienced by thousands of Christians around the world.
