God's Prophetic People
a)SIN – “For sin shall not have dominion over you…” (Romans 6:14). b) EVIL SPIRITS – “And when He had called His twelve disciples to Him, He gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast them out…” (Matthew 10:1a). c) SICKNESS – “…and to heal all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease” (Matthew 10:1b). d) SATAN – “Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you” (Luke 10:19). 3. Reigning with Christ (Romans 5:17-19; 2 Timothy 2:12; Revelation 5:10, 22:5) The kingly aspects of God's prophetic people are those divine deposits which enable this generation to rise up and take authority over circumstances, sin, and Satan. 1. Priesthood of all believers As we see in the New Testament, all believers are a part of the priesthood. This was not always the case as we look into the Old Testament.
