f) Lack of power/authority With the rise of humanistic philosophy, the New Age movement, and culturized Christianity, there has been a decline in applying biblical principles and practices in society. Nativity scenes are hardly allowed in public areas, prayer is no longer an acceptable practice in public schools, and the godly principles which formed our great nation have been pushed to the side. This has led to a significant rise in crime, a surge in drug abuse, widespread exposure to pornography, and an increase in cases of incest and child abuse. • Godly blessings • Godly families • Godly passions • Godly purpose and meaning in life • Godly success • Godly authority over the sin and circumstances that life brings The result: • Christian community having a form of godliness, but denying its power • Non-Christian community being empty and void • Lack of true power and authority When you remove God and His principles, you remove the power source which results in no more power for:

As a result of this lack there is a profound emptiness and many people today feel a deep void within. The crucial question now is: What or who will fill that space?
