God's Prophetic People - A People of Passion, Purpose And Power

God's Prophetic People

Moses went up the mountain to receive God’s Word and

to be transformed by His presence.

Elijah went up the mountain to be victorious in battle against false prophets and to see with eyes of faith the coming revival.

David went up to the mountain because he knew that

was where his help came from.

Jesus went up the mountain with three disciples and

opened their eyes to see Him for who He really was.

We too must ascend the mountain of the Lord to see as He sees, to receive His Word, to be transformed into His likeness, and to receive a prophetic perspective.

IV. THE Pathway TO A PROPHETIC PERSPECTIVE (Psalm 24:1-10; Hebrews 11:1-3)

“Who May ascend into the hill of the Lord?”

V. Practical Steps IN GAINING A PROPHETIC PERSPECTIVE

A. Open yourself intellectually (Psalm 24:7-10). B. Read the Scriptures, especially on the life and ministry of Jesus Christ (gospels). C. Spend much time worshiping in the presence of the Lord (2 Kings 3:15; 1 Samuel 10; Acts 13:1-3). D. Expose yourself to places where God's supernatural power is being manifested. E. Ask God to move upon you supernaturally and experience His grace (Acts 1). F. Practice what you have learned (James 1:22-24). G. Exhibit faith and patience (Hebrews 6:12).
