God And His Word - A Question And Answer Approach To Understanding The Bible

WHICH IS RIGHT? This must your decision. May we suggest a simple approach in determining this? Imagine yourself back in Bible days as you read God's Word. Don't allow your own interpretations to creep in, or don't be influenced by the multitude of modern churches. Take the total Bible - with its own built in commentary - as your sole guide of what the Church should be. Then, associate with those Christians who come closest to that standard! 1 Thessalonians 2:13; Jude 3; 1 Timothy 4:16. Remember the principle of Matthew 9:16, 17. Throughout the world every genuine believer in the Lord Jesus Christ that is walking in New Covenant relationship is part of the world-wide fellowship of His Church. This great Church is not denominational or political, but rather is united in Spiritual oneness. Ephesians 4:36; John 10:16. This many-membered Church is the Body of Christ. Every population area deserves at least one church that is actively participating in genuine Bible Christianity. The vision of the world-wide Church is essential, but without a workable, tangible expression in every-day living Christianity becomes meaningless. The local Church, then, becomes the focal point for the Christians of a given area as they minister to God, one another and the world. 1 Corinthians 11:18, 20; 14:23, 26.
