As long as you believe you’re a sinner, you’ll live a life of sin. This belief contradicts the teachings of Paul. It has nullified the work of Christ for millions. It's the proverbial 'back door' from godly behavior. What does it mean to be 'In Christ?' We have come into covenant with Him. We are under contract with the divine. We don't fall in and out of Christ. It is not a simple thing to break covenant with God. True sainthood is actually awarded before you do anything. My standing in God is based upon Christ's standing. My identity is a gift from my Father. Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death. Romans 8:1-2 (NIV) God promised Adam if he sinned, he would “surely die." By his actions he would be condemned to death. He would enter into a different kingdom - a kingdom of darkness. His reward was fear and shame. God did not give shame...Adam chose it. But the price has been paid by Christ. He took this curse upon Himself. There is no more penalty required. There is no more shedding of blood or purgatory to be suffered. There may still be earthy consequences for those who have broken the law. An earthly court my condemn, but the court of heaven is more powerful. Jesus is my advocate with the Father. When you know who you are, there is no condemnation!
