easy way, but it is the way to real joy. God is a giver and those who learn the joy of giving will experience God's perspective. “...God loves a cheerful giver.” (1 Cor. 9:7) God is a good father. One of the things a mom and dad enjoy most in their children is the unveiling of personalities. As a child grows from infant into toddler their distinct traits pop out. Siblings raised in the same home can demonstrate extreme differences. They come with a genetic imprint that is unique. It's one of the things parents love to tell stories about. Father God loves the unveiling of His children too. He wants more of you, not less. We've been told by the world that we're too much, not enough, weird, stupid, nerds, jocks, etc... The delight of the Father is greatest when you are just you. Not a modified version of you. Not a suppressed version. Not what you think people want to see. Stop trying to be somebody else and get comfortable in your own skin. This is the place where joy will bubble out of our life. There must be lots of laughter in heaven. Why wouldn't there be? It’s all about perspective. Jesus has redeemed all that was lost. The door has been opened for all to come into fellowship with God. When we know we are loved by Him before we do anything, real joy is released in our life. An unhappy, angry person has lost perspective. This person has become loaded down with cares and concerns that are not on the heart of God. If we will align our hearts and minds with Heaven's perspective the joy of the Lord will truly be our strength. Real joy flows out God's unconditional love.
