Lillian’s First Holy Communion May 12, 2024 Deo gratias for a priest like you Father Madanat. You made coming into the Church easier for our family. From your blessed patience with us and our need to learn a lot, quickly, to our tiresome paperwork, to our “multiple sacrament days,” to being so open and ready to receive our other family members who were to return to the Church, you are truly a gift from God. With your assistance and His grace, we were able to get to know God better. We were told that a new priest’s first chapel is always special, but for some of us, you were our first priest (in our first chapel) and that is something special indeed. You will be missed.

You will forever be in our prayers. May God bless and keep you, always. Stay “toasted.”
