A Recent Translation Recently the surprise of being geographically somewhere I hadn't been a second before happened again. In the blink o f an eye all scenery, location, and surroundings had changed. My wife Glenda, Renee Smith, and I were all frantically checking our watches and the car clock in wonder and amazement. We were looking at the clocks on surrounding buildings as well. The time was 11: 19 p.m. I remem ber it because my birthday is the nineteenth of September and this number was in the time. We were shocked at seeing the "Welcome to Lincolnton, North Carolina" sign. We had just passed over the landmark bridge to enter Renee's hometown, our destination. We were entering a different place than we had just been a few minutes or seconds ago.
